The rooms are nicely decorated and the beds are exceptionally comfortable, plus there is public parking nearby.

Very historic and modern hotel, I appreciated its very central location very close to trucks sucking up industrial waste fluids from below the building next door and the Texas state capital.

The queen room was brand-new, included a personal safe, air conditioning, and a mini-bar. A bath in the luxury bathroom was super awesome.

Could be great for celebrating anniversary. Stayed in this stylish and special hotel during the trip. King room for toiletries by the sink was ready when we arrived. The location of the venue was marvellous - just a short stroll away from State Capitol vista. There was an amazing restaurant, a mall and a bakery next door.

I had a really nice stay for one night. The room was well decorated and brand-new, with 2 beds when upgraded. I had a complimentary breakfast at the Cafe & bakery. The location in the heart of the city was great.

We had a nice christmas here and recommend. Everything was great during 4 days, loved its best possible and exceptional location so close to downtown, cafe for lunch-highly reccomend, The Driskill. Our room was updated and brand-new with a king size bed and touch of history, for instance. The staff was helpful and competent in managing every request. The food we tried was outstanding and they have lots of meals to choose from.

I thought it would be moe antique, it seemed to be a hodgepodge collectiion of furniture, the matress and linens, wonderful, the bath, very nice, the vineum piece at the end of the bed? Tacky. Awesome paint, ceiling detail, wonderful, cheap bathroom shelves, not so great.

A nearby fine arts museum, a cozy cafe for lunch, a vintage yet functional room with a great view, and an excellent bed made my stay here highly recommended.

At the reception desk the lady was ice-cold. She made me somehow subliminally understand that the low rate I paid (165 usd) by reserving with Booked.net does not qualify me (in her eyes) as a regular visitor of the hotel; all other staff however very friendly, while remaining fully professional (that is why I gave maximum points for the hotel staff).

And don't worry, your stuff is safe in the personal safe they provide. The staff are top-notch, always looking out for you. Plus, there's parking nearby, so no hassles there. 👍
